Board of Review

The Board of Review consists of three members appointed by the Township Board who must be qualified electors, land owners and tax payers. The Township Supervisor serves as the Board's secretary. The purpose of the Board of Review is to ascertain that non-exempt property is assessed at 50% of the true cash value, to grant hardship and other exemptions and to correct clerical errors.

The Ganges Township Board of Review will meet at the Town Hall, 1904 64th St, Fennville, MI 49408
on the following dates:

March 7, 2023 - 5:30 pm - Organizational Meeting
March15,2023 - 3:00pm–9:00pm - AppealsMeeting
March 16, 2023 - 9:00am – 3:00pm - Appeals Meeting

Please call for an appointment to appear before the Board of Review at (616) 970-7820 – Heather Jahr, Assessor. Write in appeals are encouraged to keep everyone safe and ensure no one misses the appeal timeline.

The 2023 tentative ratios and multiplying factors are listed by class as set by the Allegan County Equalization Department as follows:

Agricultural - 45.86 / 1.0903
Commercial - 50.20 / 0.9960
Industrial - 44.76 / 1.1171
Residential - 46.32 / 1.0794
